Before Installing the Update

• a. Make sure that DRIVE is closed
• b. Make sure that everybody is logged out
• c. Make sure that you backup the database

Download the Version 3 Zip
Click the link: Download DRIVE Version 3
Right click the file and select ‘Extract All’, then click Extract.

Installing the Update

• a. Double click the update and select install. The update will run through and then close.
• b. Log back into DRIVE as normal. It will ask the first user to update the database. Click update and let it run through.
• c. The login screen will then be displayed. Log in as normal.

If you are currently using Microsoft Outlook & Send to DRIVE, you should download the new DRIVE Office Add-In to avail of the new functionality.

To Download the new DRIVE Office Add-In

Click the link: Download DRIVE Office Add-In
Right click the file and select ‘Extract All’, then click Extract.

To Install the latest Office DRIVE Add-In

• a. Close Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• b. Double click the setup.exe and select install. The update will run through and then close.
• c. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Relate Software\DRIVE E-Mail AddInSetup and run DRIVE E-Mail AddIn.vsto. The update will run through and then close.
• d. Emails should now contain a DRIVE section at the bottom, for linking to clients.

To use the new Alerts Manager

Download & Install the Alerts Manager
Click the link: Download Alert Manager
Right click the file and select ‘Extract All’, then click Extract.

Install the Alerts Manager

Double click the AlertManager.exe, enter the required settings.
